| (this entry is just for garrick, who claims he has seen more than enough of dean's face. my apologies to those dean lovers out there. feel free to grab any of the photos from the previous entry to create your very own desktop wallpaper)
dear everyone:
it's my last day at my current job! woohoo! I'm outta here as soon as I finish this entry. and uninstall some stuff on my computer. goodbye, gaim! hopefully not forever, but I've heard rumors that the government doesn't like people chatting with their friends on their dime. can anyone help me out here? anyone? how can I keep chatting and not get fired?
anyways, I'm off to bigger and better things down at santa clara county in just ten days from tomorrow. if you're my friend, you already know all about this. if you didn't know all about it already, well, you should be able to figure out where you stand now. oh, ouch, that was kinda harsh, susan... maybe not chatting with garrick all day will do me some good...
ok, then. until next time. bye!

| hey, ajchen. you're so lucky we're friends. and that I'm really bored right now.
4 jobs I have had: 1) waitress: I waited tables for two summers after graduating high school. the first was at the market broiler, which is this awful seafood restaurant in fremont. but, hey, they hired me with no experience and with no interview, so score one for me! the second was macaroni grill, also with no interview. is there something about me that just says "bring me my food, woman!"? 2) test correction girl at the local kumon: oh, the shame. I corrected little kids' math tests at kumon when I was like 16 for like $6/hr. I don't know how long I worked there for, but man, was it boring. I'm yawning just thinking about it. 3) research assistant at the stanford shyness clinic: did you even know such a place existed? I don't even remember how I got hooked up with this. this was the summer I took a psych class at stanford and foolishly thought this job would be on campus. silly me - it was in portola valley. looks like they've since moved... 4) pre-school shuttle: when I was in high school, somehow some lady decided it would be a good idea for me to pick up her kid from pre-school and take him to his grandparents house every day. I don't remember how much I got paid, but I do remember feeling like a kidnapper, because the kid would kick and scream whenever I'd go to pick him up. I think he really hated me.
4 things i wished i'd done earlier in life: 1) slept more 2) said "yes" more 3) said "no" more 4) learned to cook stuff that actually tastes good 4 places i have lived: 1) sf bay area - specifically: fremont, fremont, fremont, san jose, san jose, milpitas, fremont, fremont 2) grand rapids, mi 3) Chicago (oh, look! I didn't have to change that one) 4) ch-ch-ch-china
4 places i'd like to visit : 1) alaska 2) greece 3) um... why is this so hard? 4) I think that's about it
4 of my favorite dishes: 1) coffee 2) chocolate 3) coffee with chocolate in it 4) chocolate with coffee in it
4 sites i visit daily: 1) google.com 2) sfgate.com 3) shhhhhhI'mnotgonnatellyou(.com) 4) mail.yahoo.com
4 software applications i can't live without 1) I'm confused by this question 2) why would I not be able to live without software? 3) maybe if there were no computers, life would be simpler 4) and I could get some sleep
4 things (I hope) i'll never forget 1) how to ride a bike 2) how to tie my shoes 3) how to chew with my mouth closed 4) my name
umm... I don't think I'm going to pass this on. do it if you want to! no pressure!
